U10-U12 Team - At a Glance

The U10–U12 Age-Class program at Eldora builds on the YSL foundation, giving athletes ages 8–11 more time on snow. Training runs from mid-November through mid-April on weekends, with the option to add midweek “Lights on Chute” sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Athletes train at Eldora and race in the USSS Rocky Division Age-Class Series. The focus is on building solid skiing fundamentals, learning race tactics, and developing mental skills, with training in Skills Quest, Giant Slalom, and Slalom. U12 athletes are also introduced to Super-G.

Families provide a volunteer work-credit deposit ($400 for U10, $500 for U12), which can be earned back by helping at club and race events. Season passes (Ikon or Eldora) and race licenses are not included in program fees. “Lights on Chute” sessions are available as drop-ins for $75 or as full-season packages ranging from $675–$1,320.
