All Racing Programs
Our Club offers a wide variety of ski and snowboard race programs designed to cater to all ages and skill levels. From youth development programs focusing on the fundamentals of racing to elite training programs for competitive racers looking to reach their full potential, our club provides a pathway for athletes to progress and succeed in the world of racing. Whether you are just starting out or aiming for the podium, our experienced coaches and top-notch facilities are here to support your journey towards excellence on the slopes.
Introducing ski racing to youth athletes ages 6-17 offers thrilling challenges, skill development, fosters independence and camaraderie. Skiers learn discipline, resilience, and teamwork, under experienced coaches’ guidance. Development of technique and confidence leads to a passion for the sport and lifelong friendships. Ski racing creates a foundation for a rewarding athletic journey in the life sport of skiing.
Youth Ski League
ages 6 - 17
We offer two options: full-time, with four on-snow sessions a week plus pre-season dryland, or part-time, with weekend training and optional dryland. Training covers SL and GS, speed skills in Super-G and Downhill, advanced technique, tactical skills, and race-day preparation. We use video review regularly, and while we push athletes to improve, we make sure training stays fun and motivating.

Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club offers professional alpine snowboard race coaching for athletes of all ages and abilities. Our experienced coaches provide personalized training programs tailored to help you improve your skills in the gates on the mountain. Whether you are looking to improve your riding ability or train for Slalom or Giant Slalom, our coaching staff is dedicated to helping you reach your goals.
Youth Ski League (YSL)

EMSC YSL goes from 2nd weekend in December through the end of March.
Choose between Saturday or Sunday training days.
U8-U12 8:30am-12:30pm U14-U18 8:30am-1:30pm
Lights on Chute gate training: NEW choose a Tuesday or Thursday 4:30-6:30pm 1/13/26-3/19
/26Both include travel days to Ikon resorts, dryland training options and coach support at USASA & IFSA competitions.

Athletes should have participated in a multi week ski school program with parallel skiing ability and comfortable skiing blue/black terrain.
No ski racing experience required.
This program is for athletes age 6-18
a ski pass is NOT included with tuition cost.
Athletes who plan on competing or doing travel days are encouraged to purchase an Ikon Pass. For those races not at an Ikon resort a discounted racer and parent spectator ticket will be available for purchase.
An Eldora Season Pass is a great option for those who wish to just train at home.

8:30-11:00am Directed free skiing, skill development and gate training.
11:00-11:30am Snack/Hydration break
11:30-12:30/1:30 Directed free skiing, skill development and gate training.
Gate training for U8-U12 groups is typically 1hr. U14-U18 1.5-2hrs.
Gate training times will be communicated to parents/staff each weekend

YSL(Youth Ski League) is an introductory program to ski racing following US Ski and Snowboard developmental guidelines and focusing on:
Building solid skiing fundamentals through free skiing and gate training.
Understanding development of turn shape through proper use of body and equipment.
Experiencing the FUN of Giant Slalom, Slalom and Kombi within a safe and controlled venue.
Development of independence, work ethic, resiliency and accountability.

4 Sunday events starting in January include Skills Quest, Kombi, Giant Slalom and Slalom within the Head Rebels YSL Series(Dates and locations to be announced).
Rocky Division YSL Championships: Open to all athletes(No Qualifying required)
Both of the above require athletes to have a US Ski and Snowboard competitors license. Race entry fees not included in program fees.

Families within the YSL program will be required to put down a $300 deposit(post dated check or credit card hold) that can be worked off through out the season at various club events.
Age Class

Our age class program offers a full-time and part-time option for athletes.
Part-time: Two on-snow training sessions per week (Saturdays & Sundays 7:30-2:30) + thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks with the option to add on both additional training days as well as dry-land training sessions.
Full Time: Four on snow training sessions per week (Saturdays & Sundays 7:30-2:30 + Tuesdays & Thursday 4:00-6:30) + additional training offered through the week + five days a week pre-season dryland training sessions.

This program is for athletes age 8-15
a ski pass is NOT included with tuition cost.
Athletes who plan on competing or doing travel days are encouraged to purchase an Ikon Pass.
Athletes are also encouraged to purchase a Loveland seasons pass as significant time will be spent there in the early season
For those races not at an Ikon resort a discounted racer and parent spectator ticket will be available for purchase.

We utilize Winter Park as well as Loveland for pre-season training.

Includes the development of an athlete-centered program that emphasizes skiing and racing fundamentals, tactical on-snow experience, and structured mental skills training.

Athletes will compete in local and regional USSA at a level appropriate to their desire and ability.

2 days-a-week Alpine Training Center Dryland: $895.00
Full-time U16 program (includes all dryland): $8625.00
Part-time U16 Program(2 days-a-week): $6125.00
Drop in Lights on Chute: $80.00
Lights on Chute 1 day-a-week for season (1/7-3/20): $675
Lights on Chute 2 days-a-week for season: (1/7-3/20): $1320
Each family will be required to give a work credit deposit.
Full time Program: $800(8 work credits)
Part-Time Program: $600(6 work credits)
This deposit can be worked off during the season at club events and race events hosted by EMSC. Volunteer opportunities have different work credit values and will be posted throughout the season and covered in orientation.

Snowboard Race Team

EMSC offers a one and two day option for the Alpine Snowboard Team, Drop-In Days, and 5-day punch pass option

Athletes should be comfortable on blue terrain and have the ability to ride in a smooth and controlled manner.
Athletes do not need to be proficient in Slalom or Giant Slalom racing to join.
This program is for athletes ages 8-18
a ski pass is NOT included with program cost.

Eldora Mountain is our home base and main training ground.
We meet at the base of Chute behind the alpenglow chairlift.

Our snowboard team trains on the on a GS snowboard race course and will work on turn shape, edge angles and racing!

Athletes will receive coach support at all, USSA, USASA , FIS and NorAm Race Competitions in the Rocky Mountain Series + national/ world championship
